Food Justice Internship

This paid internship is for motivated teens who want to learn to be activists for food justice.  Interns will work together on a few big projects over the course of the year:

  • Researching, preparing, and presenting to government leaders on the topic of food justice at CBI’s Legislative Luncheon in January
  • Attending (and maybe presenting at) a regional gathering of teens involved in food justice work
  • Teaching about issues of food justice to the CBI community in the spring

Interns will meet with an advisor about twice a month, and be expected to work an additional 10 hours each month independently. Open to teens in 9th-12th grade.

Dates: October-May

Stipend: $300
