Hearing Our Voices, Knowing Our Stories

Join us for a fun stimulating monthly discussion group focused on the stories about women and LBGTQ people in Jewish texts. Together we will: learn more about the stories, think about what it meant for the Jewish community at the time and what they mean to us today.  The group is starting in March. We will meet once a month date and time to be determined.

My motivation for forming the group was to better understand the stories of women in Jewish texts and share conversations and perspectives on their meaning with other members of the Jewish community. Giving us an opportunity to take a deep dive to informing ourselves and thinking about their relevance and strength. I also wanted to examine these stories with an LBGTQA lens.
