Young Families
CBI is proud to be a home for young families. Please know this is a place you can come where you will find no trouble locating a listening ear or a spare set of hands.
Seeking community?
Try joining us for a Kiddush meal every Saturday after services while children play in the sanctuary or outside with new friends.
Seeking children's programming?
Shabbat Shabloom, a musical children's service, and ALMA, our religious education program for children 3 years old - 7th grade, provide fun, engaging, Jewish education that meets them with play and song. We even have a nature based children's early education program- Gan Keshet.
Seeking support?
Reach out to our Chesed community to get on a list for short term assistance such as delivery of hot home cooked meals, assistance running an errand, a ride, or a supportive phone call.
CBI is a diverse community where all are welcome. We are proud to have LGBTQIA, BIPOC, blended, and interfaith families. CBI Membership is not a prerequisite for participation.
New Addition To The Family?
Mazel tov on the arrival of your new family member! When CBI members welcome home a new child, we love to share the announcements in our Weekly Newsletter. Please fill out this from if you would like your announcement to be shared with our community.
Our rabbis are happy to support CBI members in welcoming children into our Jewish community with a bris, baby naming, or conversion. Reach out to our office and request to meet with a rabbi for guidance.
For many households, the birth or adoption of a child prompts families to seek community support to create a Jewish home. If you are interested in becoming a member of CBI, please read all about membership here.
